Enterprise Information Research Group (EIRG) Projects

The EIRG, a Faculty of Information Technology Research Group, based in the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) at Monash University, builds on and extends the research work and collaborative partnerships of the SIMS research groups. EIRG focuses on research in the areas of:

Information Ecology Project, Distributed Systems Technology Centre (aka Enterprise Distributed Systems Technology CRC)

The Information Ecology project is conducting theoretical and practical research on context sensitive ways to support interaction and information discovery for people and enterprises in complex information environments.

Titanium Project, Distributed Systems Technology Centre (aka Enterprise Distributed Systems Technology CRC)

The main objective of the Titanium Project is to design and develop an information infrastructure which can use data standards to support seamless, standardised querying and data exchange over a variety of information sources.
