Prototyping of Integrated Systems Environment Supporting Automated Recordkeeping Metadata Capture and Re-use
This research activity within the Clever Recordkeeping Metadata Project involves the prototyping of an integrated systems environment supporting automated recordkeeping metadata capture and re-use. The scenario is based on a policy development, publishing and archival transfer eGovernment workflow.
First Iteration
The purpose of the first iteration is to establish that metadata re-use is possible and to begin to conceptualise both the integrated system environment and the tools required to support the 'create once, use many times' concept. Subsequent iterations will realise and refine this conceptualisation in order to establish the feasibility of automated recordkeeping metadata capture and re-use.
