Based in Monash University's School of Information Management and Systems, EIRG brings together a range of research activities with the common objective of improving enterprise and interpersonal information flow and recorded memory.

Enterprise Information is defined broadly as communicative interactions between people acting individually or collaboratively in complex and dynamic information ecologies, It encompasses information-as-knowledge, information-as-evidence and information-as-infotainment.
