Ms Sue Lockwood

Breast Care Action Group

Ms Sue Lockwood is currently Chair of the Breast Cancer Action Group. Through her extensive involvement with the breast cancer community and its institutions, she has developed a significant understanding of the information needs of women with breast cancer and their families. She brings to the project an invaluable insight into the breast cancer experience and the needs which confront women and their families. She has also gained international recognition as a consumer advocate within the breast cancer community, and has been instrumental in gaining recognition of the importance of consumer involvement in medical research.

Sue also has qualifications in librarianship and experience in the development of online information services, having worked for CSIRO Information Services for several years.
