Information retrieval has been a research interest of June’s throughout her career as a practitioner and academic in the field of library and information science. She has been particularly involved in exploring how expert systems technology can enhance library reference services. June is currently the Director of Graduate Studies within the School of Information Management and Systems.

June will work on the information resource identification, assessment and description component and the portal design and prototyping component of the project.
